For grade 4-5
(204 words) Sometimes I want to go out with friends, have fun, and I need to prepare lessons and other boring things. “I’m doing time, but an hour’s fun” - adults answer your complaint. How is it to do and do something uninteresting all the time, when to have fun? No, because in the proverb the answer is given, how to do everything.
It happens that you lie or sit and do nothing. Why does it get boring, because there is no business at all? Just fun is pleasant only when the opportunity to relax is not very often. You quickly get used to the good, and it becomes completely ordinary. Therefore, it is necessary to devote only an hour to rest, and then it will always be a joy. I even know an example when a child experienced the meaning of this proverb. Vitya Perestukin from L. Geraskina’s fairy tale “In the Country of Unlearned Lessons” didn’t really like to do business, because one day he received as many as five deuces. And for this the hero was punished. He ended up in the Land of Unlearned Lessons, where he had to remember everything that he once went to school. Only after many adventures did Vitya realize that unpleasant duties were necessary. This is all, of course, a fairy tale. But in life, how many times did one have to regret that he had once chosen fun when it was necessary.
Unfortunately, one cannot argue with folk wisdom; one must do business constantly and only occasionally rest.
For grades 7-8
(241 words) Russian proverbs - a storehouse of wisdom. If at first glance the statement in it seems controversial, then upon closer examination it turns out that it is true and relevant after hundreds of years. For example, the proverb “Cause time is a fun hour” was invented in the 17th century by Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Then he attributed this expression to the rulebook of falconry. So he reminded his subjects that entertainment should not be indulged entirely, you need to devote yourself to work and only occasionally rest.
“I’m doing time, but an hour’s fun” - how is it, constantly working or something, and not resting at all? Of course not, it is possible and necessary to rest, otherwise there will be no strength for useful work. And in this case, the statement: “The best rest is a change of activity” does not always work. Sometimes you just have to do nothing and relax. However, if you constantly remain inactive, then not only life will pass by and it will become boring. Even the abuse of idleness leads to stupid or even catastrophic situations. An example is officials from the comedy N.V. Gogol "The Examiner". If they were more engaged in their work, rather than their own funs and enrichment, then no auditor would be scary. And it’s scary to such an extent that they took the first person to be examined. Such behavior in power structures is ridiculous and at the same time tragic. Apparently, the officials forgot the covenants of Tsar Alexei, once ruined the city entrusted to him because of idleness and inability to work.
Work, work, creativity - this is what gives meaning to our existence, leads us forward. However, rest is an integral part of life, it cannot be ruled out, but it is necessary to dose, as the wise king Alexei Romanov bequeathed to descendants.
