The Buerak group is a relatively young collective in the music arena. It was founded by Artyom Cherepanov and Alexander Makeev in 2014 in the city of Novosibirsk. This duet performs music in the post-punk genre. One of the first songs of the group was the composition “Sports glasses”, which later became a real hit.
This group can be associated with the "great-grandchildren of the Lost Generation", with some fourth wave of social and spiritual schism. The songs of “Bueraka” are replete with phenomena of marginality, such as: poverty, crime and mental down-landing. A striking example is the composition "Sports glasses." In it, the image of a little man was embodied in the best way. A very interesting, subtle parallel with the work of N. V. Gogol “The Overcoat” can be traced in the lyrics. The only outlet, dream and goal of Akaki Akakievich was a new overcoat. The lyric hero of the song has sports glasses. In them, he sees his existence from a different angle, through a prism of a happy life. In sports glasses, the hero of the song departs from his usual, everyday image, hiding from convictions and oblique views from the side of society:
I seem to be very meager, untidy mister
my face is scarred, my hands are prone to crime,
but, just recently, a friend gave me
sports glasses for my birthday
now it's always luxurious and dark to me
and people do not see my face thieves
sports glasses - an elegant silhouette,
thin frame, I’m a disco-esthete in them ...
Sports glasses for the lyrical hero becomes a kind of plot detail for starting a new life. Now he is free. A primitive melodic emphasizes the meager material needs of the hero of the song. Sports glasses are the first step on the path to purification and coming to a completely different, quiet life, devoid of crime and monotonous grayness.
